Created with long distance drivers in mind, who often have to sleep in their cabs on uncomfortable mattresses with unsupported pillows.
After driving all day, every day, a good night’s sleep is the most important thing for mind and body – Any possible way to encourage this should be looked at, especially when safety and well-being can be at risk if lack of sleep prevails.
I am looking for, with help from ’Trucking’, 5 volunteers to try out my Pulo Pal Kit (Travel support Pulo pillow and mattress pad). These volunteers will be given the kits, FOC, as presents with my compliments, for helping in these trials. All the volunteers must write an honest account of how they sleep, using the kit, every night for 3 weeks, either in the cab or on top of a mattress on a bed. Comments and suggestions for improvements, when necessary, will be acted on. Ideally, for easier monitoring, volunteers from the South West, Salisbury, Wincanton etc. areas would be preferable but not vital.
Importantly, if volunteers are currently suffering from back problems or other aches and pains, then they might really benefit from these trials, so they will be given preferential consideration when selection takes place.
Volunteers’ daily accounts must be emailed to me, every weekend, at - lookwhatithoughtof@email.com, as well as to the Editor of Trucking – steev.hayes@futurenet.co.uk . Volunteers should ideally add photographs of themselves using the Kit, which they will not mind being published, without charge or objection, in Trucking magazine or on the internet.
Please note: Volunteers will have a basic Pulo Pal Sleep Well Travel Kit to assess – Accessories for future Kits will include a cool pad, mosquito repellent pad and extra tough cover to enable drivers to use the Pulo as a back support when driving.
GOOGLE – lookwhatithoughtof – to see a full size Pulo. For further Pulo information – GOOGLE – pulopillows.
The Pulo is patented and images of the Kit will be posted when the final end-product is created after all comments and suggestions have been collated and acted on.
Please Note: The responsibility of using and trying the Kit lies solely with the volunteers – Trials carried out are done so totally at their own risk.
